"P rofessional and competent - Based on Kudzu reviews, I requested and received estimates from four roofing companies for tear off/re-roofing, some carpentry work, and new skylight installation replacing old one. Two companies met my selection criteria and I chose Stellar. Main reason for the decision was attention to details in the estimate, willingness to communicate, and reasonable cost. I didn't realize until I got the estimate from Stellar that I had a low slope roof in one section of the house where the skylight sits. (This happens to be the area re-roofed by previous owner due to a leak.) No other companies noticed it. I measured it to slightly less than 4:12, They proposed this whole section to be covered by leak-resistant underlayment instead of regular felt. The tear off/re-roofing took two days as expected. A very large custom ordered skylight was installed in about four weeks. I had a concern of possible water leak around the skylight as it really takes up large space and raised from the roof surface impeding the water flow. Had about two days of continuous rain, and it's dry inside. I noticed looking out of the window that the water was flowing away from the skylight casing which indicates to me that they put a lot of thought into installation and have done it many times before. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, the roof looks great, as I expected from having seen his other works in the area. I feel that the whole process was done right by competent professionals. They really delivered!""Exceeded expectations - I needed to have some shingles replaced that had blown off my roof. Stellar came out & gave me a great quote, as well as recommended some additional maintenance work. I hired Stellar Construction to do the work & I am completely satisfied with he repair.
